Overview
Start Date: July 2025
Location: ESOC Darmstadt
Working hours: Full time 40h/week
Submission deadline: 30th April 2025

LSE Space GmbH is looking for a Senior Spacecraft Operations Engineer (f/m/d) withexpertise on the Attitude and Orbit Control subsystem for the operations preparation and of Interplanetary missions.
In line with security requirements the candidate has to hold an EU citizenship.Evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process. Furthermore in view of the nature of the work the company is in all potential employees will undergo stringent reference and identity checks.
What youll do
  • Participation in ground segment development and testing activities (MCS MPS Simulator etc)
  • Definition and production of the Flight Operations Plan
  • Preparation and validation of Flight Control and Contingency Procedures
  • Definition of OnBoard Software Maintenance Concept
  • Definition and planning of mission phases
  • Preparation ofroutine operations
  • Preparation and conduction of training campaigns
  • Participation in simulation campaigns
  • Operations including shift and oncall support
  • Support to Space and Ground Segment anomaly investigation and resolution
  • Trend and performance analysis
  • Identification and support to implementation of system and process improvement
What we are looking for
  • Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering or other relevant field
  • Proven expertise in Attitude and Orbit Control subsystems with experience in the operation preparation tasks (FOP preparation and validation).
  • Proven and demonstrated experience in the development and validation of the Flight Operations Segment
  • Fluency in English both in speaking and writing
  • Strong team player
  • Highly motivated and autonomous
