We have an opportunity for a fulltime role on our Advancement team for an International Admissions Officer beginning August 11 2025 (position profile can be found here).

Aberdeen Hall provides
Competitive Compensation for permanent Staff at an annual salary of $60000 to $90000 inclusive of vacation pay and commensurate with years of experience
Annual vacation time starting at 5 weeks with the opportunity to increase this in time

Position Summary
As a key member of the Admissions & Advancem ent Team the International Admissions Officer plays a vital role in recruiting supporting and integrating both domestic and international students into our school community. This position also oversees the International Homestay Program ensuring that students are placed in safe welcoming home environments that foster their wellbeing and success.
Responsible for international student recruitment admissions retention and homestay coordination this role supports students host families and international partners. The Officer is dedicated to ensuring that students have a positive enriching academic and personal experience. Additionally this role provides custodianship support as needed guiding students through their transition to a new environment and helping them feel at home.
Success Factors
Bachelors degree in Education International Relations Social Work or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in international education student services admissions or homestay coordination.
Familiarity with Canadian immigration regulations for international students (e.g. Study Permits Custodianship)
Experience working with host families homestay programs or cultural exchange initiatives.
Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g. Mandarin Spanish Japanese) are an asset.
Computer skills: Google docs sheets slides and Gmail
Valid drivers license and ability to travel within BC and internationally.
