The Department of Climate Change Energy the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) is currently seeking to appoint a Scientist in our Net Zero Emissions Modelling team within the Climate and Atmospheric Science branch.
The Scientist role supports the Net Zero Emissions Modelling team for their state and economywide emissions modelling program contributing to greenhouse gas emissions analysis modelling and research.

The successful candidate will have experience with some level of autonomy to make day to day decisions relating to work priorities and workload management. They will be accountable for the quality integrity and accuracy of content of advice provided.

DCCEEW conserves and protects the states natural environment. It manages the NSW national park estate including its rich and diverse biodiversity and Aboriginal cultural heritage for future generations.
DCCEEW also ensures sustainable management of water resources across the state to support the environment communities and industry.
