Job Description
Elementary School Math Interventionist
The NCCA Math Interventionist will work with students to improve their math skills with a focus on students who are struggling academically.
Reports to: Principal
Responsibilities Include:
- Instruction: Providing individual or small group instruction thats tailored to the needs of each student or group
- Monitoring: Regularly assessing student progress and performance
- Documentation: Keeping databased records of student progress and performance
- Communication: Reporting student progress to parents teachers and administrators
- Collaboration: Working with classroom teachers to identify students who need intervention analyze student work and develop and implement curriculum
- Staff development: Providing support and professional development to teachers and other staff
- Other duties as assigned.
