Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to guide and mentor our web development team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of largescale commercial websites and web applications acting as a technical and business representative. This role requires a strong understanding of modern web technologies excellent communication skills and the ability to drive technical direction and foster a collaborative environment.

You will:

  • Effectively lead and work within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Act as an effective representative of the development team from both a technical and business standpoint.
  • Demonstrate expert understanding of delivering robust and scalable web solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior and senior tech leads within the team.
  • Contribute to and review document solution approaches and estimations.
  • Contribute to and review technical knowledge documentation.
  • Identify and recognize highperforming team members.
  • Create and review architectural diagrams and flow charts.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance in Java development and RESTful web services.
  • Leverage Java Frameworks such as object mappers Sling JCR Guice and Spring.
  • Utilize and manage Git/Bitbucket for version control.
  • Work effectively with Atlassian project management tools including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Provide proficient technical leadership on large commercial website and web application projects.
  • Apply strong fundamental and practical knowledge of HTML CSS Vanilla JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Ensure crossbrowser compatibility and address crossplatform issues DOM manipulation and adherence to W3C Web Standards.
  • Lead and maintain effective communication within inoffice and distributed teams.
  • Utilize Atlassian project management tools (Jira Confluence) for project tracking and collaboration.
  • Understand website operations and demonstrate fluency in the typical tiers of a hightraffic website.

You have:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Lead or in a similar leadership role within web development.
  • Solid Experience and deep understanding working with Adobe Experience Manager AEM.
  • Strong technical background in Java development and RESTful web services.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience with key Java Frameworks (object mappers Sling JCR Guice Spring).
  • Extensive knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML CSS Vanilla JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Experience with Git/Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian suite (Jira Confluence).
  • Solid understanding of crossbrowser compatibility crossplatform issues DOM and W3C Web Standards.
  • Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience in creating and reviewing technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • (Preferred) Experience with GraphQL.
  • (Preferred) Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices.
