Job Title:Automation Lead Foreman
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with MES Inc. safety policies through enforcement onsite field training incident investigation and ongoing safety monitoring.
- Facilitate safety discussions in both office and job site settings and review near missed incidents accidents and field investigation reports.
- Provide handson technical field training to technicians as needed.
- Work with the Automation Operations Manager on field evaluations for adequate field staffing and performance.
- Work in conjunction with the Project Managers to properly staff projects and adhere to project goals and completion.
- Facilitate team success by being a technical point of contact and ensuring resource availability.
- Work closely with the Automation Foreman to complete projects and provide a quality product
- Engage with Project Managers to proactively resolve customer project challenges
- Take part in monthly safety meetings to promote a safe work environment.
- Cultivate future field leaders through identification mentorship and training to meet scaling needs.
- Complete all designated projects to fulfill contract terms and obligations
Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements minimal experience computer skills required etc.
- Bachelors degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent field experience Building Automation field knowledge with a minimum of 10 years construction or service field experience.
- 3 years of Building Automation System logic functionality and testing experience
- 3 years of experience in a safetyrelated role preferably in construction/manufacturing/energy systems.
- 3 years supervisory and leadership experience in Building Automation electrical HVAC systems a plus.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Strong understanding ofHVACelectrical systemselectromechanical building automation softwareandcontrol systems.
