Job Summary: We are looking for a professional and patientfocused Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our plastic surgery practice. This role is essential in providing outstanding customer service managing patient flow and supporting administrative and surgical coordination tasks. The ideal candidate is detailoriented organized and comfortable handling sensitive medical information
Key Responsibilities: Front Desk & Patient Coordination - Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
- Handle checkout procedures including scheduling followup appointments and collecting payments.
- Manage patient inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate staff members.
Financial & Administrative Duties - Collect payments and process transactions at checkout.
- Verify insurance details and process required paperwork (if applicable).
- Maintain accurate financial logs and daily reconciliation reports.
Chart Management & Compliance - Organize and maintain patient charts.
- Ensure all necessary documentation consents and medical records are complete.
- Assist in preparing AAAASF peer review documentation ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
Surgical Scheduling Support - Work closely with the surgical coordinator to schedule surgeries and follow up on necessary clearances.
- Communicate with patients regarding surgery preparation paperwork and financial responsibilities.
- Assist in obtaining required medical clearances for surgery
Qualifications & Skills: - Experience in medical office reception preferably in plastic surgery or aesthetics.
- Proficiency in EHR/Practice Management software.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle financial transactions and confidential patient information.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of AAAASF compliance is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
