Job Description
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social MediaMarketing Intern to join our team in Stamford CT. As a Marketing Intern focused on content creation you will assist in developing compelling and engaging content for various marketing channels including social media email campaigns and more. This is an excellent opportunity to gain handson experience in content marketing and contribute to real projects.
The Marketing Intern is a paid position and requires candidates to be fully inoffice.
Responsibilities of the Marketing Intern:
Content Creation and Management
- Develop content for Instagram Facebook Newsletters and other platforms; creating 3 posts per week
- Capture video content and create promotional reels
- Maintain a content calendar for consistent posting through Sprout.
- Monitor and respond to comments messages and mentions.
- Foster engagement through likes comments and shares.
- Track and analyze social media metrics.
- Design and distribute weekly newsletters.
- Manage corporate LinkedIn account with updates and engagement.
- Create flyers and graphics for event promotion.
- Share event details across social media platforms.
- Assist in photography needs.
Requirements of the Marketing Intern:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program preferably in Marketing Communications or related field
- Prior content creation experience personal or professional required
- Experience with video production/videography or photography is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools and platforms (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices is a plus
- Possible evening availability may be required.
