Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the work of budgeting/planning and financial planning and analysis as well as aiding in various financial planning and analysis functions within the practice finance organization. The Senior Analyst is also responsible for analyzing operations of the business units regarding revenue generation profitability and cost center performance. This position is a professional track position and will offer continued education to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion excellence and reliability.
  2. Four 4 year college degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or closely related field; MBA CPA preferred.
  3. Three 3 to five 5 years successful experience in financial analysis role.
  4. Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills.
  5. Demonstrated record of goal achievement.
  6. Demonstrated record of successfully taking on more responsibility with positive results and ambition to grow
  7. past current position.
  8. Strong computer skills including Excel power pivot tableau and PowerPoint.
  9. Demonstrates welldeveloped ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner to groups of employees manager directors and other customers.
  10. Ability to motivate and be selfmotivated flexible versatile and creative. Possesses problem solving ability leadership skills and is able to foster interpersonal relationships.
  11. Understands the companys organizational structure financial status and operational goals/objectives.
  12. Solid record of goal achievement and exceeding performance standards.
  13. Acceptable preemployment assessment results.
  14. Ability to read write and effectively communicate in English.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA and The BAYADA Way.
  2. Develop working knowledge of BAYADAs mission services people organization policies and procedures.
  3. Includes all the primary responsibilities of Associate Finance Partner.
  4. Analyze and compare periodic financial results metrics and key performance indicators against plan and other internal benchmarks including: Gross Margin management overhead spend at the division and local level and key driver based operational metrics impacting financial performance etc.
  5. Develop evaluate and monitor long and shortterm financial objectives and metrics ensuring consistency and alignment with overall goals and objectives of the unit.
  6. Assist and support Practice leadership in the annual planning process.
  7. Establish a rhythm by which Finance Partner reviews performance results with multisite leaders. Monitor budget vs. actual variances and creates viable action plans for course correction.
  8. Support Manager with due diligence and financial projections associated with new and adjacent business ventures.
  9. Review periodic financial statements justification etc.
  10. Support Manager in developing financial monitoring tools for Practice leadership portfolio management.
  11. Coordinate and prepare the annual plan which includes setting office specific targets by meeting with Practice leadership.
  12. Serve as financial liaison (finance partner) between enterprise finance functions and local business unit.
  13. Act as a steward of financial statements and reports.
  14. Serve as finance representative on unit level initiatives projects/jobs workgroups.
  15. Indirectly responsible for the business acumen of operational leaders (Practice leadership).
  16. Actively participate in the onboarding of new leaders (Practice leadership) and sharing best practices across regions.
  17. Develop awareness of and familiarity with issues and events affecting organization department and/or customer.
  18. Ensure prompt highquality resolution of customer problems questions concerns and issues.
  19. Demonstrate solid performance or exceed performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff.
  20. Perform related duties or as required or requested by supervisor.
