ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

Iron Mountain India is looking for a Manager Safety and Security Operations based in Mumbai India. The position will report to the Director Global Safety Risk and Security India. The position will manage and support all aspects of safety risk and security for all the business lines operating (Records & Info Management Digital Solutions Data Centres etc. within India.

As a Manager you will develop and implement a robust and efficient security program as directed by the organisations strategy and its leadership to safeguard our customer and organisation assets and its people and help maintain a secure work environment. We seek a highly skilled individual with a strong knowledge of safety and security and a proven track record in managing security operations in a global enterprise.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing and implementing robust security policies and procedures to protect the Customer and Company assets employees data centres and facilities.

• Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities investigating security breaches incidents and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.

• Managing third party security service providers their security personnel including their hiring training billing and compliance.

• Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure optimal functioning of safety and security systems.

• Conduct or assist conducting regular security assessments facilitate customer audits and inspections to identify gaps and recommend areas for improvement.

• Maintaining and updating emergency response plans and training the site teams.

• Collaborating with external stakeholders such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.

• Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on safety and security protocols and procedures.

• Support the Org optimisation plans and projects that are focused on driving process improvements and risk reduction.

• Work with corporate teams to provide appropriate guidance and sustainable processes.

• Ability to respond to situations and incidents and willing to work at odd hours.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree (any field or domain).

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in security management law enforcement or the military with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.

• Handson knowledge of security technologies incident management software and other securityrelated equipment such as access controls and CCTV surveillance systems.

• Familiarity with laws regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety in India.

• Knowledge of security assessment ISO auditsand 45000 and incident investigations.

• Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating safety and security risks.

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation.

• Knowledge of Marathi language and experience working with Law enforcement agencies in Mumbai/ Maharashtra region.
