The Lead Management & Master Data Management (MDM) program will implement a bestinclass system (technology data processes and operating model) to manage individual prospects throughout their UNSW experience from the moment of anonymous engagement up until enrolment into a program.

Why Your Role Matters

The PMO Lead will play a key role contributing to the seamless delivery of the program ensuring it is delivered on time within budget and ensuring all governance and assurance processes are followed.

The role will oversee governance planning reporting risk management resource coordination and financials ensuring that all program workstreams are aligned with the overall programme objectives.

This projectfocused role will collaborate with senior leadership project managers/scrum masters and crossfunctional teams to conduct planning and reviews of scope resource budget and timelines to drive efficiencies in delivery identify opportunities to align and optimise delivery and maintain high standards of programme governance; with key objective to complete the program on time and within budget.

The role will provide strong leadership and strategic guidance to the central Program Team including operational and administrative support across the program workstreams with adherence to the Enterprisewide Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) governance framework.

The PMO Lead will report into the Program Director Lead Management & MDM and has one direct report.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the PMO for the Lead Management & MDM program ensuring effective management and alignment with objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple program teams promoting crosscoordination and engagement
  • Oversee project delivery track milestones and build reporting systems for monitoring metrics and driving change
  • Monitor and track program budgets ensuring costs remain within approved limits
  • Throughout the duration of the program review scope resource budget and timelines to drive efficiencies in delivery identify opportunities to align and optimise delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement of project management policies procedures and methodologies
  • Develop and maintain the master project schedule and ensure alignment between workstreams and milestones
  • Implement governance frameworks reporting structures and manage risks and issues with mitigation strategies
  • Allocate resources across the program ensuring proper staffing and adherence to governance pathways
  • Prepare leadership papers management briefs and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Track delivery of business benefits and maintain project dashboards for realtime visibility into program progress

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who feels aligned with UNSWs vision and values who has excellent organisational and time management skills and comes equipped with:

  • Proven Project Management Office (PMO) lead experience with an indepth understanding of the program/project life cycles and leading the strategic development of project plans resourcing objectives and documentation.
  • In depth experience in managing program budgets and finances replanning and modelling financial tracking and forecasting and reporting ensuring and adjusting alignment with the programmes objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with complex programs and an agile approach regarding replanning and remodelling of programs and program workstreams/projects.
  • Deep knowledge of project governance including risk management change control and resource management.
  • Proven expertise in PMO leadership in largescale technology transformations and/or complex digital transformation programmes.
  • Proven experience in planning and replanning of programs conducting analysis of scope effort resourcing and costs to identify efficiencies and opportunities to improve delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead crossfunctional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization driving accountability and ensuring alignment
  • Extensive experience in identifying risks and issues developing mitigation strategies and ensuring they are tracked and addressed promptly
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create detailed reports dashboards and presentations for senior leadership
  • Substantial experience in preparing reports policies and briefings in a complex program with a high level of governance oversight and stakeholder engagement
  • Extensive experience and demonstrated skill in consultation influencing and negotiation skills and collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving skills and proven capacity to exercise initiative flexibility and to be proactive in development of robust solutions to problems.
