Savage Services an established materials management company is seeking a Industrial Electrician who will be a part of a specialized team of our Coke Handling Operation in Port Arthur TX. The successful candidate will maintain and repair cokehandling process equipment. Equipment will range from but not limited to overhead bridge cranes (Konecrane) belt conveyors skid mount hydraulic pump units skid mount lubrication pump systems and coke drum unheading / reheading devices.
Here is what you will be doing:
- Must understand and implement the Savage Maintenance Program
- Perform a pre/postshift equipment inspection
- Maintain and report spare parts inventory
- Properly record and complete maintenance reports and service records
- Repair and maintain bridge crane electrical components motors gearboxes crane wheels crane cables PLC drives inventors and plantspecific equipment
- Maintain good relations and open communication with coworkers and management via radio and other proper means
- Maintain a clean work environment by removing trash and debris from all areas of responsibility including structures offices restrooms break rooms vehicles etc.
- Complete PM services on plant and process equipment
- Supports the Savage S7 Delivery System
Requirements of a successful Industrial Electrician:
- Master Electrician License preferred
- At least 5 years of experience reading Electrical Prints troubleshooting PLCs and Frequency Drives
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Knowledge and working experience with different types of welding and cutting
