Job Description
THE POSITION
Are you an experienced project manager skilled in applying engineering techniques to moderately complex highway or bridge projects If you have experience with multilane construction interchanges and subbase and drainage systems this could be the ideal opportunity for you! DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will apply your expertise in engineering principles while overseeing moderately complex construction projects or specific phases of more intricate projects. Your ability to analyze advise and supervise tasks from start to finish in a professional timely costeffective and safe manner is crucial. You will utilize sound engineering judgment to propose safety enhancements for incorporation into construction initiatives. Additionally your engineering knowledge will be instrumental in facilitating necessary modifications to the original design and aiding designers in developing solutions to address challenges. You will serve as the InspectorInCharge for highway construction projects which include roadway pavement reconstruction guiderail installation flood control measures and bridge rehabilitation and replacement. Furthermore you will resolve issues or provide engineering support that requires collaboration with municipalities private properties businesses emergency services railroads authorities utilities and other construction endeavors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch.
- You will work closely with vendors and work hours may change based on vendor availability.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime on an adhoc basis upon completion of probationary period. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Montoursville.
- Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $67678 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Five years of civil engineering experience and an EngineerInTraining certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers Land Surveyors and Geologists;or
- One year of civil engineering experience in highway design construction or maintenance related projects and a bachelors degree with major course work in civil engineering.
Special Requirement:
This position requires possession of a valid drivers license.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
