The Opportunity
This attorney will be based in our San Jose headquarters and will work on a broad range of revenue producing enterprise licensing and sales matters involving Adobes cloudbased services onpremise software and professional services areas that are significant to Adobes success.
What Youll Do
Day to day in this role we review and negotiate contracts provide legal counsel to Sales and Sales Management and collaborate with other internal groups (such as Product teams Privacy/Security teams and Consulting Services teams) on a variety of topics including intellectual property commercial terms risk analysis and the effects of applicable laws.
We participate in or colead a handful of projects such as template creation job aid creation trainings etc.
What You Need to Succeed
JD Degree
License to practice law
Ideally 23 years of relevant practical experience
Familiarity with AI and privacy issues (ex: Gen AI GDPR) education issues (ex: FERPA) and healthcare issues (ex. HIPAA Medicare) is a plus
Ability to understand technologies that we license
Excellent client management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $100900 $196300 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on jobrelated knowledge skillsand experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC base commission) and shortterm incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Nonsales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and shortterm incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition certain roles may be eligible for longterm incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
