Job Description
Bishop Ireton High School is seeking a fulltime Social Studies teacher for the school year at our campus in Alexandria Virginia. Candidates should be able to teach World History and U.S. History. Experience in Advanced Placement or Dual Enrollment history or social science courses is a plus.
Candidates will:
- demonstrate professionalism in a collaborative environment.
- have strong communication skills.
- possess a bachelors degree in History or related; masters degree preferred.
- possess or be willing to obtain a Virginia teaching license or VCEA license
- citizenship residency or work visa required
- promote the Catholic mission of the school
