Glenville State University seeks an innovative and strategic leader to serve as the Executive Director of Enrollment Management. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enrollment strategy that aligns with the universitys mission priorities and student success initiatives. The Executive Director will oversee undergraduate and graduate recruitment admissions and enrollment operations ensuring a datadriven approach to student outreach retention and engagement.
Reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs the Executive Director of Enrollment Management provides leadership in advancing optimal strategic recruitment and admissions initiatives to meet the Universitys enrollment goals and manages a comprehensive datadriven recruitment and admissions program to attract and admit qualified firstyear students and transfer students along with readmits. The Executive Director of Enrollment Management develops and leads an aggressive strategic recruitment plan encompassing all areas of student recruitment including traditional nontraditional undergraduate graduate and international students as well as other targeted populations. They will establish a system to identify prospective students through market and applicant research implement monitor enforce and evaluate University policies relative to Admissions including but not limited to recruitment and marketing analyze enrollment patterns and projections and implement a system of data collection and security with appropriate means for retrieval analysis and dissemination. The Executive Director of Enrollment Management provides relevant information to campus offices relative to the entering class including but not limited to applications approvals matriculations territory productivity and other enrollment management strategies. The Executive Director of Enrollment Management must build a robust teamoriented staff that collaborates with the Pioneer Support Center Office of the Registrar Financial Aid University Faculty Student Life Athletics and other units relative to admission and registration of new transfer and readmit students.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities Include:
A Bachelors degree and three years of professional experience (requires). A Masters degree and or five years of professional experience (preferred).
Work is performed under general direction by applying established standards through a broad and deep knowledge base of admissions work acquired from several years of experience in a particular area. Problems faced in this position are varied complex and involve multiple constituencies often with competing priorities. Conclusions have significant broad implications for the management and operation of the University and contribute to decisions on the overall strategy and direction of the entire institution.
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent leadership skills and expertise in enrollment management strong analytical and communication skills sound professional judgment initiative and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals including students faculty and staff. Experience with MS Office applications student database systems (i.e. Degree Works Ed Net Banner Brightspace) and customer relationship management tools (CRM Liaison) is required. Must be organized and an effective time manager with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
