As part of their ongoing expansion our client is currently seeking a highcaliber candidate to join their team as a Financial Accountant. We are exclusively partnering with them on this role which presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment and support the organizations continued success.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the companys accounting processes including financial and management reporting.
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of consolidated accounting schedules and financial statements.
- Liaise effectively with external auditors tax consultants and banking partners to uphold compliance and enhance operational efficiency.
- Supervise daily securities operations ensuring transactions are processed smoothly and accurately.
- Oversee treasury activities while adhering to company policies and risk management guidelines.
- Provide ongoing reports about cash flow investment positions and securities operations for managements timely assessment.
- Take on special projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive accounting experience.
- Relevant professional accounting certification (HKICPA or equivalent) is required.
- Experience in the securities brokerage industry financial services or family office operations; knowledge of financial products is advantageous.
- High level of responsibility selfdriven and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fastpaced evolving environment.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin.
- Strong skills in computer applications particularly with MS Excel and QuickBooks accounting software.
- Preference for candidates with a stable work history.
