Our team Physical Stores Advertising focuses on developing engaging advertising products for customers that shop at physical stores such as Whole Foods Market Amazon Fresh and Amazon Go. Our Team:
We own building launching and commercializing innovative ad products instore and do not shy away from technical challenges. Our team is responsible for fullstack implementation and integration of new advertising products which power the ad content targeting and attribution across our advertising network with physical stores. We utilize the latest in cloud technology to build out products supporting custom experiences both in browser and on mobile platforms using custom hardware and android operating systems.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will deal with mostly JVMbased backend services React/JavaScript singlepage applications various persistence technologies such as DynamoDB and RDS and exciting specialty technology specific to physical stores. This is a large initiative that spans across multiple existing and tobeformed engineering and product teams within the Advertising organization.

The ideal candidate has experience in building software systems communicating with stakeholders to collect technical design requirements to drive product features and has sharp analytical abilities and design skills to thrive in a fastpaced environment.

3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
