Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Linear assessment of video and audio files including specialized formats such as Dolby Vision HDR.
- Film restoration QC for finding restorationintroduced artifacts and evaluation of film defects
- QC of Film Conform to review proper framing of film element
- Color QC to confirm shot matching balanced levels/scopes and general intended looks.
- SidebySide comparisons between source and new master to verify matching content timing framing & color
- Detailed reporting of errors and anomalies
- Communication with QC Managers and other Duplitech staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience in this type of QA work
- Familiarity with programs such as DaVinci Resolve
- Solid understanding of film based defects such as flicker positive/negative dirtscratches splice lines warps chemical stains and changeover cues
- Experience with master QC of HDR files is a big plus with an emphasis on catalog titles
- Solid Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Must be self motivated; proactively seek to improve knowledge of testing procedures
- Individuals who are available to work evenings and weekends are preferred
