A bit about the role:
Our Residential Support Workers create a safe and supportive environment for children and young people to grow and develop. You will ensure their wellbeing is prioritised by delivering personalised care guidance and advocacy. It is key that they stay safe and healthyand can reach their full potential.

OurPlace is a 3bed permanentresidentialhome forchildrenand young people aged between 8 18 who have various to create a homely andsupportiveenvironmentwhere thechildrencan thrive and develop byussupportingthemwithhousehold tasks and all aspects of theircare.
Here atOurPlace we focus on making sure thechildrens voices are always heard and pride ourselves on providing acollaborativeandcaringservice. Weworkhard toensurethechildreninourcareareexperiencinga safe and happy childhood in a friendlywarm andinclusiveenvironment.
Thisrolewillbe working 37 hours a weekwitha 2week rolling rota drawn up in advancewithevery2nd weekend off. Shifts are 7.3020.00 9.3021.30 and sleep ins are 10.00 till 10.30 the next day.
About the Role:
We are now looking for a Residential Worker who will help our team continue to ensure the best possible environment. We are looking for someone who has a compassionate and positive attitude is adaptable to changing situations and has excellent communication skills. If you have experience in a similar setting with disabled children and young people this would be advantageous. As this is a senior position you will be a shift leader who oversees the activities whilst on shift. You will receive training and supervision to support your personal development.
