We build stateoftheart information retrieval infrastructure extracting structureddata from unstructuredcontent automatic item classification storage systems to hold the massive catalog and distributed systems of cloudscale. We apply parallel processing Generative AI solutions and machine learning algorithms to evaluate millions of products every day and to identify and prioritize new additions to Amazons selection efficiently. Our ideal candidate will have launched multiple impactful consumer products have demonstrated the ability to lead highperformance teams and have deep understanding of product management user experience and software development processes (especially agile). You should be highly analytical able to work effectively across teams and thrive in entrepreneurial fastpaced work environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead product strategy and vision supported by internal data and external analysis.
Define creative high quality simple product requirements and roadmaps based on product strategy.
Manage prioritization and tradeoffs among customer experience performance and operational support requirements.
Create buyin for the product vision both internally and with key partners
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver products to market using agile development methodologies.
Stay current and report on industry trends including new opportunities competitor capabilities etc.
Measure and analyze existing products and business models for opportunities to innovate and improve providing additional benefits to developers and customers
Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the teams ability to meet strategic financial and technical goals

Amazon carries the worlds largest catalog of products and in order to maintain this lead we are constantly exploring and understanding the global ecommerce landscape. The mission of Selection Monitoring (SM) team is to collect all publicly available facts and generate insights about brands and products. SM is a global team with the charter to surface these facts and insights to WW Amazon teams where we have an ecommerce business. SMs primary objective is to improve Amazon selection and customer experience by discovering validating prioritizing offAmazon brands and selection.

Bachelors degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

7 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies business analysis or process improvement
7 years of end to end product delivery experience
