Job Description

Zalandos global product marketing team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Product Marketing (B2C). You will work with product design and marketing teams to bring new engaging product innovations and content experiences to market. Youll be responsible for building awareness and user driving adoption & engagement of innovative parts of our user experience and help play them out across markets journeys and touchpoints on and offplatform.

WHAT THE TEAM IS LOOKING FOR

You will be responsible for driving the product marketing strategy for our tech products ensuring partners are empowered to leverage our products to their fullest potential whilst generating excitement on new product releases.

Were looking for a strategist and marketer with a sales mindset wholl function as an ambassador for the user. Combining product strategy with engaging storytelling and tactical experimentation across channels you will lead the charge on a variety of missions across a range of business areas.

To shift product perception and user behaviour you will i) translate product vision into userready language; ii) design & deliver gotomarket channel strategies in partnership with marketing partner communications and corporate communications stakeholders; and iii) measure impact experiment and improve on your tactics to ensure we ship digital experiences that get to the people who would benefit most from using them.



WHAT WED LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Strategy Development: Youll conduct user and market research write high impact internal and userfacing materials to create bestinclass differentiated value propositions and benefits. You deeply understand (and therefore articulate) what is different better and remarkable about a product in its market context. You will be accountable for reviewing product impact to ensure continuous improvement. When key audiences see themselves as beneficiaries of what we have to offer youll be successful.

  • Collaborate and Influence. Youll work closely with product managers (content & product) designers and Category Regional and Performance Marketing teams. You will team up with Analytics to develop consumer growth KPIs.

  • Develop and execute. Youll be responsible for comprehensive gotomarket strategies to launch new experiences. You will identify infeature crossproduct and crosschannel opportunities to inform product strategy and distribution. Youll create product marketing assets by considering local competition with the goal to boost share of voice transactions subscriptions and retention increasing topofmind awareness and deepening user loyalty.

  • Experiment & Scale: Youll dive deep into data and consumer insights to understand which parts of our user experience are most impactful (and those which are not). You will hypothesise reasons why deliver solution designs and experiments to validate these and work with product and marketing teams to scale impact through enhanced distribution.

WED LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • You drive ownership & : You have experience owning and delivering high quality digital product / digital experiences across multiple markets. You have experience defining value propositions for new products as well as shaping and delivering the market strategy.. For existing products you translate features into marketable narratives that inform marketing planning budgets and . For all products you provide concepts for testing and research that shape feature iterations benefitdriven storytelling and marketing collateral.

  • You have deep product marketing experience: You have experience shaping and communicating product marketing strategy with a view of the overall brand strategy. This role This is essential were not talking about a classic marketing role here. Youre a storyteller at heart and can write and review consumerfacing marketing communication in excellent English.

  • You have handson experience developing and ensuring consistent usage of messaging positioning targeting and channel strategies. You can show and explain creative commerciallyrelevant work you have planned led and realised.

  • You bring customers and stakeholders on a journey of increasing engagement by explaining a clear customer experience vision and telling compelling stories.
