Are you a Generative AI Specialist with extensive handson experience on Generative AI projects
Location: Montreal
Bilingual: French/English
** Extensive handson development experience in Generative AI projects is a MUST HAVE Must have experience implementing GenAi Projects. Please note this is not an entrylevel position. **
The Emerging Technologies team in Global Technology and Operations (GTO) Canada at CGI is a trusted Data Cloud and AI advisor and goto implementation partner for our global clients Data and Advanced Analytics needs. Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Generative AI Specialist on this team your responsibilities will include:
Building Large Language Modelsbased and NLPbased solutions for CGI clients by researching the best in class techniques and being a selfstarter
Data Engineer and Prompt Engineer the LLM solutions endtoend to enhance end user experience
Being handson to build tune deploy and monitor (MLOps) robust Machine Learning solutions built on RAG and latest techniques
Finetune LLMs with latest cost optimized PEFT techniques like LoRA QLoRA
Mitigate risks and optimize costs associated with choosing a GenAI architecture solution adn advise clients on best practices in GenAI
Strategically and intensely collaborating with innovation team and the client stakeholders and account teams to explore key GenAI solutions
Collaborate with other Data Scientists and Data Engineers in a client engagement setting
Implementing proof of concepts to show value and then package and scale to full ML solutions at scale on both onprem and cloud environments
This role comes with sometimes intense delivery expectations churning out POVs for clients in a short period of time and then going on to implement a fullscale production solution ensuring right user experience and adoption.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Handson work experience with implementing Generative AI LLMs or GenAI solutions on at least 25 different projects or at least 1 project that was deployed in production
Prompt Engineering experience on tools such as Azure Promptflow Amazon Bedrock Azure AI Studio would be ideal
Experience building LLMbased solution on Azure AWS or GCP
Experience finetuning LLMs with latest techniques
Experience with multiple models including open source models deployment (LLaMa Mistral et al)
Experience with multiple Vector Databases
5 or more years handson working experience delivering diverse Advanced Analytics solutions
Handson expertise in building and deploying code in Python SQL and major programming languages with at least one major Cloud platform Azure AWS GCP
Additional desired qualifications
Experience with MSFT 365 Copilot Copilot plugins and connectors Copilot Studio is welcome but not required
