What youll do

As aLinen Porterin the Housekeeping team at The Dorchester youll play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of every guest. Working behind the scenes youll help maintain our commitment to fivestar cleanliness presentation and attention to detail. In this role you will:

  • Deliver and collect linenefficiently across guest bedrooms and service areas ensuring the team has what they need to provide seamless guest experiences.

  • Maintain an organised system forstocking clean linenandremoving used bed linen supporting the daily operations of our housekeeping service.

  • Ensure thecleanliness and upkeep of public areas stepping in when needed to maintain our exceptional standards of presentation throughout the hotel.

  • Assist withguest requeststhat relate to linen or public area standards ensuring each interaction is handled with care and professionalism.

  • Showflexibility and reliability responding to the needs of the day and working in partnership with Room Attendants and Supervisors to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Take pride in your contribution toguest comfort understanding that the quality of linens and cleanliness of spaces sets the tone for a guests overall experience.

What youll bring

Essential Skills and Experience

  • A positive handson attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

  • Strongcommunication skillsand the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • A willingness to beflexible reliable and proactive in your approach to supporting housekeeping operations.

  • Physically fitto meet the demands of a fastmoving hotel environment including lifting and moving linen supplies.

  • Fluent in English with the confidence to interact with colleagues and respond to guest needs clearly and courteously.

Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in aluxury hotel housekeeping teamor similar guestfacing environment.

  • An eye for detail and pride in creating a polished wellpresented environment.

  • Familiarity with handling linen inventory and working to structured shift patterns.
