Job Title: Electrician (InHouse) 2nd shift
Job Summary: New England Mechanical Services Inc is looking for a licensed Electrician to work at a customer site in the Cromwell/Wallingford CT area. This person will assemble install test troubleshoot and maintain commercial controls fire alarms electrical or electronic wiring and equipment. Hours are MF 3:00pm11:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly hazardous and unreliable wiring consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
Installs calibrates and maintains gas monitoring equipment as well as sensors and devices
Integral to building automation and HVAC control systems
Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments relocation or replacement.
Repair faulty equipment or systems.
Qualifications: Valid CT Electrical license. Valid Drivers License. Prior Commercial/Industrial experience required. Must have experience with machine and manufacturing equipment. Must be able to work independently be selfsufficient and able to make field decisions.
