Job Description

Position Overview

As a Business Analyst Senior within PNCs Talent Strategy & Enablement organization you will be based in Pittsburgh PA. Additional locations may be considered.

Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

Primary responsibilities include:

Consulting on and developing technology solutions that support learning and talent development
Acting as a liaison between HRIS and internal partners for businessasusual processes application maintenance requests and enhancements.
Working directly with internal partners to understand line of business and end user needs to solve problems and create innovative solutions.
Testing and implementation of developed solutions


The Learning Talent and Development Business Analyst Senior should have skills with but not limited to:

Experience with specific HR technology platforms (Workday is preferred but not a requirement).
Adept at researching formulating ideas developing and presenting actionable insights.
An excellent communicator possessing verbal written interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to interact well with a diverse community.
Selfmotivated able to work on own as part of a team and willing to lead.
Capable at maintaining focus under pressure possessing a high tolerance for ambiguity.
Curious and relentless when it comes to finding an answer and meeting the needs of partners.
Skilled at breaking down complex issues into manageable steps and identify potential solutions logically and systematically.
Comfortable with challenging existing ideas and asking questions to fully understand a situation.


The ideal candidate will have knowledge with but not limited to:

Human Capital Management (HCM) systems
Microsoft Tools such as SharePoint Power Platform Excel and OneNote to develop improved processes.
Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in HR technology.
Instructional design elearning technologies and learning management systems.
Adult learning quantitative analysis and technology with experience supporting enterprise training applications.
Project Management possessing the ability to plan organize and monitor projects.


Though not required the following would be a plus:

Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
System Administration (User access control learning assignment/course creation and deployment catalog management tracking learner progress troubleshooting technical issues and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize the platform for effective training delivery

Job Description

  • Directs in the research discovery collection and interpretation of business requirements and participates in the development and review of processes and procedures workflow analytics and reporting.
  • Provides consultation to clients on business designs problem solving and business analysis to support project management. Develops and maintains of all applicable policy and procedure documentation.
  • Independently obtains and identifies the business requirements needed to carry out and improve applicable business processes. Provides expertise and problemsolving for clients and technology teams throughout the business analysis process.
  • Translates business needs processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate needs. May communicate with stakeholders and technology teams on moderately complex business requirements provides gap analysis and facilitates future business process modeling for clients.
