Job Description
Windham Academy Public Charter School in Windham New Hampshire is dedicated to providing a STEMprep education that incorporates reading and art to offer a comprehensive STREAM (Science Technology Reading Engineering Art and Mathematics) experience. The curriculum emphasizes projectbased learning mastery in literacy numeracy and social studies and instills values through civic understanding and personal character development.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Incorporate technology and studentcentered instructional strategies to enhance learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate ELA instruction across subjects.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
Maintain effective classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Certification: Teaching certification for the appropriate grade level (requirements may vary by state or country).
Experience: Previous teaching experience in an elementary school setting is preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners.
Excellent communication skills with students parents and colleagues.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Patience creativity and a genuine passion for teaching and working with children.
