Behavior Support Specialist YouthFull Time $21 per hour Full Time
Job Description The Behavior Support Specialist will work with youths who have behavioral challenges and provide support to help them achieve their goals. The specialist will work with a team of professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans provide training to staff and caregivers and monitor progress. Responsibilities- Conduct functional behavior assessments
- Develop and implement behavior support plans
- Provide training to staff and caregivers on behavior management strategies
- Monitor progress and make adjustments to behavior support plans as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals such as therapists and social workers to provide comprehensive support
- Document and maintain accurate records of services provided
- Attend meetings and provide updates on progress
- Provide Therapeutic Behavioral Services to clients by consulting with a licensed clinician to assist with the individuals needs.
- Provide service planning for individualized supports or care coordinator of healthcare behavioral health nonhealthcare services and development of a treatment plan.
- Provide linkage interventions treatment options restoration of daily life skills and crisis prevention services.
- Provide services to individual clients or groups of clients.
- Promote a positive and cooperative relationship with all outside contacts.
