Job Description
Locations : Sunnyvale CA. and Cupertino CA.
Type of Job: Contract.
Skills
- Practical knowledge of at leastone Cellular Wirelesstechnology including3G 4G 5G
- Practical knowledge ofcellular industry standardsincluding3GPP 3GPP2 Carrier specifications including performance requirements compliance requirements and required testing methodologies.
- Experience and a deep understanding ofSystem Level RF Parametric its sources inRF component characteristicsand behavior.
- Hands on experience with bench levelwireless testing debug at the module reference board or system level
- Understanding of Antenna characteristics impact to radiated testing.
- Familiarity with radiated test setups radiated chamber calibration and use.
- Experience using RF lab test equipment.
- Ability to travel domestically (between Cupertino and San Diego)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- BS with 10 years relevant experience required.
- Responsible for assessing platformlevel performance across cellular technologies towards EMI and RF primarily Antenna sensitivity and Coex losses including:
- implementing inhouse test systems; and executing validation & characterization test plans
- Performing failure analysis to understand low margin or failing behaviors making use of experimental SW/FW and mockup hardware.
- Collaborating with test equipment vendors technology suppliers and crossfunctional staff to optimize RF parametric performance.
- Tracking validation status; analyze results; communicate issues & insights from data.
- Bringingup deviceundertest and setups for validation preparedness
- Responsible for assessing platformlevel performance across cellular technologies towards EMI and RF primarily Antenna sensitivity and Coex losses including:
- Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs)PAs FEMs in module packages for Cellular 4G and 5G
- Handson measurement/debug experience with RF lab equipment such as VNA Spectrum Analyzer Signal/RF generators Oscilloscope etc.
