Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the nontenure Clinician Educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Pediatric Anesthesiology with a focus on cardiothoracic anesthesiology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABA certification with subspeciality certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pennsylvania licensure are required.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching both in our formal didactic lecture program as well as in the informal teaching of medical students residents and fellows rotating through the cardiothoracic operating rooms and procedural areas.
Clinical responsibilitiesmay include direct patient care and medical directionin the cardiothoracic operating rooms and procedural areas. Primary practice is located at the Philadelphia campus of the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.
