What you will be doing:
As a Vessel Scheduling Coordinator you will collaborate with multiple departments to develop and refine the systemwide operating plan ensuring the seamless coordination of vessel movements overhauls and service schedules to maintain connectivity for Alaskas communities. Your role will involve analyzing traffic patterns tides and economic factors to optimize routes while working closely with the Vessel Engineering Operations Reservations and Marketing teams. You will also engage with local community stakeholders representing AMHS at meetings gathering input and contributing to future operational planning. In addition you will be responsible for overseeing schedule updates publications and public communications to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services.

Who we are looking for:
To be successful in this position the selected applicant will possess the following core competencies:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college
AND
One year of experience in the compilation analysis interpretation and reporting of data that included using computer technologies to access manipulate and format data; or similar responsible experience in planning or managing projects.
Substitution:
Four years of any combination of qualifying experience and postsecondary education will substitute for the required degree 3 semester or 4 quarter hours equal one month)
