We are hiring at the UofL Health Brown Cancer Center Medical Center Northeast
2401 Terra Crossing Blvd. Louisville KY 40245
Shift: 1st Shift 5 days 8hrs)

Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Medical assisting duties include patient triage vital signs patient history EKG injections and using the electronic health record.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Medical Assisting certification from a nationally recognized organization (CMA CCMA or RMA); if certified not upon hire then certification must be obtained in the first 90 days of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Electrocardiogram (EKG) vital signs venipuncture capillary and injection experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Assisting Degree
- Minimum one year of working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office.
- Experience coordinating with other doctors offices attorneys and patients
