Johnson County Mental Health is hiring a licensed Masters Level Clinician to work in their Family Focus program providing clinical services to justice involved youth ages 1218 who are referred by the Department of Corrections and have been diagnosed with severe emotional disabilities (SED) and their families. Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is provided with the goal of maintaining severely emotionally disturbed youth in the most natural least restrictive setting possible. The schedule requires evening availability. Services will primarily take place in the youth/families home with an office location in Olathe. This team with utilize Functional Family Therapy as the primary mode of treatment. Training/experience with FFT and working with youth involved in Corrections is a plus. Johnson County has implemented a skillbased pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Masters degree in Social Work Counseling Psychologyor other Human Services field and Kansas Behavioral Sciences licensure at the masters level in the area of focus are required. Requires a valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
*Applicants who meet Kansas licensure requirements may be considered if Kansas licensure is obtained by time of an employment offer and licensure is pending confirmation at the time of employment application.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Kansas Behavioral Sciences license at the clinical level; licensed as a Masters or Clinical Addiction Counselor by the Behavioral Health Sciences Regulatory Board with the State of Kansas experience working in a community mental health setting preferred.
Physical Environmental and Special Working Conditions:
All County employees may be called upon to assist other departments in a declared emergency situation.
