Job Description
Job Summary:
Linde Engineering India (LEI) is a wellknown TEPC player providing Basic Detailed Engineering and EPC services for Ethylene projects. In order to cater to growing demand for basic engineering services for such units we are in the process of strengthening existing team of process design engineers at India Vadodara location. A suitable candidate with comprehensive experience in Ethylene basic design commissioning and operations is desired.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for process design during basic/FEED engineering stages and typical activities would include.
- Development of process design basis in consultation with Owner/PMC.
- Develop simulation models using process simulator.
- Development of Process Flow Diagrams.
- Preparation of basic process specifications for equipment like reactors columns exchangers vessels pumps compressors etc.
- Perform utility balances and develop utility summary.
- Interface with catalyst vendors for design of catalytic reaction systems
- Participate and provide process insights during several project reviews such as PFD P&ID HAZOP SIL 3D Model reviews.
- Participate in Startup activities at sites to provide process guidance.
- Evaluation of plant performance and participate in performance guarantee test runs.
- Analysis of existing plant operations and provide suggestions for debottlenecking improvement in energy efficiency etc.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor or Master of Chemical Engineering
- Experience in developing simulation models using simulators like HYSYS UNISIM Aspen is a must.
- Experience in basic engineering of Ethylene Technology.
- Willingness to work in a multicultural team environment.
- Must possess good communication interfacing and influencing skills.
Experience Requirement:
Overall 812yrs (Out of which min 46 yrs experience in Ethylene process design). Candidate with strong Engineering background working with licensors/EPC contractors would be considered.
