Job Summary About the Role
Assist with enhancing the physical appearance and experience of the Park District for residents and visitors to our parks and facilities.
Duties include inspecting maintaining and reporting mechanical electrical plumbing and HVAC systems to ensure optimal operating results.
This position is well suited for someone with a friendly and positive personality who is productive and shows initiative is an effective written and oral communicator is reliable and safetyminded.
Required: A high school degree with some technical training is required. One to three years maintenance experience is required. Have physical strength and ability to lift heavy objects as required and dig manually with hand shovel as needed. Knowledge of computers and other technological devices. A valid Illinois State Drivers License is required. Maintain current CPR/AED/First Aid Certification and DCFS Mandated Reporter Certification or obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

Under the direction and supervision of the Superintendent of Parks and the Assistant Superintendents of Parks the Facilities Maintenance Associate shall complete their assigned duties to the best of their abilities and be ever mindful of the best interests of the St. Charles Park District and of fellow employees.
