11.61 ph PAYE or 14.48 ph CIS van on call overtime)
8 week contract starting asap
MacArthur Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Operative with core skills in joinery / carpentry. As a multiskilled operative you will be part of the repairs and maintenance team responsible for minor building works maintenance and repairs to the clients housing stock. Our client makes a positive impact on local housing and the people living there.
Primary skills in joinery and secondary skills in other trades such as below :
- Basic plumbing
- Kitchen installations (Butt and scribe joints)
- Patch plastering
- Tiling/splash backs
- Floor screed installing flooring
- Decorating (Preferable)
- Health and Safety
Cards / Qualifications
- CSCS (trade specific)
- NVQ 2 / 3 (or equivalent)
Ideally current however you can get these prior to starting:
- Asbestos Awareness
- Working at Height
- Manual handling training
There is paid oncall on a rota basis approximately 1 in 4.
You will be a frontline representative of the company working within the community in tenants homes and other clients properties. The role requires you to possess a high degree of professionalism and integrity and be able to communicate accurately (both written and verbally) to tenants management and work colleagues.
