Job Description
The SpeechLanguage Pathologist evaluates establishes and implements treatment programs for patients of all ages referred by a physician. This individual supervises the Registered SpeechLanguage Pathology Aide (RSLPA) in the delivery of patient care. The SpeechLanguage Pathologist supervises Registered SpeechLanguage Pathology Aides and ancillary staff with department activities.
Qualifications:
A. Education
1. Graduate of an accredited curriculum in SpeechLanguage Pathology
B. Experience
1. Prior experience in SpeechLanguage Pathology preferred
2. Demonstrated competence in the care of populations served which may include neonatal infant child adolescent adult and geriatric
C. Licensure
1. Licensed as a SpeechLanguage Pathologist by the state of Georgia
