Experience Required: 5 to 10 years in Retail Planning & Merchandising (preferably in Retail Fashion Stores)
Key Responsibilities:
Seasonal Merchandise Planning:
Develop and manage OTB (OpentoBuy) and Option Plans aligned with seasonal business needs across stores.
Sales & Performance Tracking:
Monitor key retail KPIs such as Sales Sellthrough Fill Rate Newness and Inward/Outward inventory movement.
Inventory Optimization:
Maintain ideal stock levels by establishing and managing minimum/maximum thresholds in line with sales forecasts and financial goals.
DataDriven Decision Making:
Analyze market trends historical data and storelevel performance to forecast demand and support merchandise planning.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
Partner with Buying Merchandising and Operations teams to drive planning efficiencies and execute strategic initiatives.
Replenishment Planning:
Develop and execute replenishment strategies to ensure availability of fastmoving SKUs while minimizing overstock.
Executive Reporting:
Generate and present regular reports to senior leadership covering sales trends stock health margin performance and key planning metrics.
Requirements
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Proven expertise in retail merchandise planning and inventory management.
- Strong analytical and Excel/MIS skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Experience in apparel or fashion retail preferred.
- Highly collaborative with strong communication and organizational skills.
