As part of a small passionate and accomplished team of experts you will perform general duties involved in the precision cleaning and inspection of aerospace hardware to support Blue Origins launch facility and test stand programs for various spaceflight systems. We seek employees who are passionate about space and possess a strong desire to continuously learn and improve. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention toward safe and repeatable spaceflight.

Position Specific Details:
**Shift: Monday Friday 6am 2:30pm) Location: Space Coast FL Relocation: Available**
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and passivate hardware using means such as solvent/chemical mechanical ultrasonic and precision cleaning methods.
- Safely handle hardware utilizing overhead cranes hoists and associated lifting equipment.
- Use titration and other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct CPV Lab solvent/chemical systems.
- Inspect hardware using visual UV light borescope microscopic particle count and highprecision weighing methods.
- Package accepted hardware and supplies for storage or shipment.
- Perform shoplevel maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps tanks filtration systems scales etc.
- Set up and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including but not limited to torque wrenches micrometers calipers laser trackers height gauges and optical measuring instruments.
- Conduct general housekeeping of Precision Cleaning Lab and Certified Clean Room area via 5S.
- Follow safety regulations and wear protective eyewear steeltoe boots and other applicable personal protective equipment.
Team Focus & Domain Expertise:
Gross clean precision clean sampling quality inspections
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in aerospace precision cleaning or another related field.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing integration or other relevant field
- Experience working on fluid systems with applied chemistry fundamentals.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and comfortable working at heights (work stands ladders lifts) and/or in confined spaces.
- Expertise in various applications including adhesives sealants and thermal blankets.
- Proficiency in digital tools including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry certification trade school training and/or degree in related field.
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing integration or other relevant field
- Experience working on fluid systems with applied chemistry fundamentals.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
- Willingness to work overtime.
