Description

The University of Tennessees Career Gateway is looking to fill the temporary assignment of Operations Assistant with WUOT. Through temporary assignment placements Career Gateway allows the opportunity to work with various departments while gaining valuable work experience. Each assignment has differing pay rates work schedules and lengths of assignments. The length of assignments is subject to change. Responsibilities
  • Provides complex administrative and clerical support to WUOTs underwriting (sales) and traffic (logging and tracking) functions.
  • Enables sales staff to maximize their time for selling and servicing accounts.
  • Creates updates coordinates and reconciles underwriting schedules.
  • Processes scripts using WUOTs Allegiance and Enco software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Handles Underwriting Accounts Receivable.
  • Performs daily broadcast log duties.
  • Enters underwriting contracts into the Allegiance Traffic software.
  • Schedules underwriting flights within the Allegiance Traffic software.
  • Assigns underwriting scripts to WUOT hosts for recording.
  • Ensures hosts have successfully recorded assigned scripts.
  • Handles client correspondence as directed by sales staff utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Prints the daily program log.
  • Reconciles daily program logs to verify the accurate broadcast of scheduled underwriting announcements.
  • Assists the Director and Assistant Director(s) with information gathering for reports to regulatory agencies and/or organizations.
    Maintains extreme detail orientation in all duties.

  • Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders and subject matter experts with varying levels of expertise.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in work environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity of content management systems
  • Detailoriented and highly organized with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Passion for public media and the mission of our organization.
  • Strong technical aptitudes and an ability to pickup and troubleshoot softwarecentric workflows with ease are required for success in this role.


Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience: 1 year
