JOB STATUS: All Applicants
JOB TITLE: Everyday SPED Substitute
LOCATION: Multiple Schools
REPORTS TO: SPED Director
CALENDAR: 178 Days
SALARY: $14.84/HR

JOB SUMMARY:
Assists the Special Education Teacher in achieving the goals and objectives as stated on each childs current Individual Education Plan (IEP) through individual small group or whole group instruction both in a Resource Room setting and in the regular classroom when appropriate.
- Be knowledgeable of and uphold general policies pertaining to teachers and students as specified in the District Policy Manual.
- Review with the principal SPED teacher or other appropriate people all plans and/or schedules to be followed during the teaching day.
- Carry out the responsibilities and duties of the regular classroom teacher to the extent possible.
- Prepare a written summary about work completed at the end of each day and leave it for the regular classroom teacher to review.
- Act ethically in all aspects of the teaching role. Maintain and respect the confidentiality of student and school personnel information
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
