Our Saint John NB location is seeking a Rigging Inspection Technician
As a Rigging Inspection Technician your key responsibilities will be:
- Assist all departments within Hydraulics Rigging and Rubber
- Conduct thorough inspections of rigging lifting and fall protection equipment ensuring it meets safety standards specifically within industrial environments
- Assisting with rigging inspections
- Fabricating wire rope & chain sling assemblies
- Testing of hoist slings and bridles
- Travel and work both indoors and outdoors
- Working extended hours including evenings weekends and oncall shifts
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- Trade or service experience in industrial settings
- Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Maintains a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and highly motivated
- Proficiency in computer skills including Outlook data entry etc
- Capable of embracing role changes and tackling new challenges
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Able to communicate professionally with customers
- Adaptable with new challenges and changing responsibilities
