The OttawaCarleton District School Board is the largest school board in Eastern Ontario and offers students and parents a world of choice for learning. We are seeking creative dynamic and committed teachers to join our team at Katimavik Elementary School .
Katimavik Elementary School is located in Kanata. Our school serves a culturally diverse population with many of our students speaking one of about 40 different languages other than English and French. We also welcome international students from time to time in our school. Our school staff is committed to:

Eligibility List
All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.
If you are fully external to the OCDSB you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTOsis as follows: 1 current elementary occasional teacher applicants followed by 2 qualified external applicants.

Required OCT Divisional Qualifications: Junior/Intermediate
Required OCT Additional Qualifications: Intermediate Instrumental Music Part 1

Process for selection:
A minimum of 3 qualified applicants will be offered an interview including:
1. At least three 3 teachers who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
2. If fewer than three 3 qualified applicants apply all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
