Atrium Health Navicent with Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute is recruiting a Cardiologist to join the medical group located in Central Georgia. Advocate Health is working to advance health equity and improve access and affordability for the people and communities we Health Navicent The Medical Center as the second largest hospital in Georgia is a 637bed American College of Surgeons verified level one trauma center and is the teaching program for Mercer University School of Medicine.
Atrium Health Navicent proudly boasts an STS 3star Heart and Vascular Center which houses cardiac catheterization labs dedicated state of the art operating rooms hybrid OR Cath lab EP lab CVICU and a cardiac rehabilitation center; all staffed by a dedicated team of highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologists Perfusionists Physician Assistants nurses and support personal. Our cardiologists perform a broad range of services including inpatient consultations and daily rounding Cardiomems biopsies Barostim echocardiogram/EKG interpretation and support an outpatient heart failure patient clinic and a cardiogenic shock team. Advanced treatment options include LVADs and the total artificial heart; additional surgical and minimally invasive options including bypass surgery heart valve surgery and implantable heart devices.

Requirements of Ideal Candidates:
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Proficient in broad based cardiology procedures
- Active Georgia License or ability to obtain.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
