About the nursery

Spring RAF Haltonprovides highquality care and education for children from 0 months to 5 years. The nursery has a spacious garden that includes a bike track and a covered area for all year access to the outdoors and a large designated Forest School area for weekly Forest School sessions. The nursery has a fantastic staff team with some staff members that have been here for over 10 years with a great variety of skills across the board and who are continuously training to improve themselves.

About the role

Were looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Unqualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team here at Spring Nursery to provide a safe caring fun and stimulating environment to the children who come through our doors. When you join us youll be part of a passionate and creative team committed to giving the highest standards of care and education and helping children to find their feet making friends having fun and sparking their imaginations through play.

What youll be doing

In the role of Early Years Practitioner Unqualified youll be:

• Supervising the children and keep our active flexible nursery environment safe and suited to their needs.
• Giving children a wide range of stimulating safe and wellplanned activities.
• Creating engaging fun and informative learning opportunities helping the children make excellent progress and meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Building solid relationships with parents / carers families and professionals involved with the children.
• Meeting each of the childrens individual needs keeping accurate records and regularly communicating with parents / carers.
• Having a positive attitude making each day count for the children in our care.

What we need from you

In the role of Early Years Practitioner Unqualified were ideally looking for someone who has:

• A passion to learn and develop whether you are new to the sector or an experienced practitioner.
• Experience working with children in an early years or childcare environment.
• Understanding of childrens emotional physical psychological and educational developmental needs from 0 to 5 years.
• A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards.
• A willingness to complete further childcare training & qualifications.
