VP of Solution Delivery and CIOWhat does a successful VP of Solution Delivery and CIO for Education Loans do at Fiserv
As a successful VP of Solution Delivery and CIO for the Education Loans group at Fiserv you will lead and oversee all technical aspects of the Education business. While leading daytoday operations of client support application development programming associates and education specific security operations you will have a strong influence on our future success. You will be responsible for the security development and maintenance of existing applications and platforms and more importantly the strategy for the development of new applications and platforms and migration planning.
What you will do:
- Serve as CIO for the Education division ensuring technology meets all company and client standards.
- Provide strategic direction and support for client projects ensuring timely and accurate implementations.
- Promote a culture in which employees proactively address client needs and take decisive actions to provide exceptional service.
- Develop strong relationships with the senior executive teams at each client aligning our capabilities with client business objectives.
- Ensure alignment with key organizational partners including executive leadership sales marketing operations finance legal technology operations cybersecurity and others to ensure aligned portfolio and business success.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency in project methodologies deliverables reporting and training thereby elevating service and delivery capabilities.
- Champion new product/service innovations for valueadded offerings that differentiate Fiserv from competitors.
- Develop metrics and measure organizational effectiveness to find opportunities for improvement in the endtoend client delivery processes.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education work and/or military experience.
- 12 years of experience in financial or technology industries executing technology product delivery.
- 12 years of experience managing a team demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Per contractual obligations must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a qualified United States Government security clearance (e.g. US DOD Secret.
What would be great to have:
- Experience working in the student loan industry.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with Clevel leadership.
- New product build and launch experience managing client version and product upgrades.
- High degree of domain expertise for emerging technologies such as Cloud APIs / Services DevOps CI/CD Agile Development Digital Form Factors (Mobile/Voice) Artificial Intelligence and Analytics.
- Experience working with product management practices and endtoend product management discipline.
