Addison Trail High School

Student TeacherFamily and Consumer Science Dept.

Available: Fall 2025

Student Teacher:

To be considered for a student teaching assignment at Addison Trail High School/ Willowbrook High School all prospective candidates for Student Teaching positions must complete the online applicationandupload the following:

  • A written request from your university specifying the subject area and requested dates of placement.
    • Note: This request should be on university letterhead.
  • A resume orcurriculum vitae
  • An unofficialtranscript
  • A Philosophy of Education statement
  • Any other supporting documents

Your application will not be considered complete until all materials are submitted. To be considered for a student teaching placement in one of our schools you must:

  • be entering your final semester of a teacher preparation program
  • complete theDuPage HS District 88 Student Teacher Application
  • pass a criminal background check through the DuPage County Regional Office of Education
  • be enrolled in an accredited university/college that has a relationship with DuPage High School District 88.

Every effort will be made to place student teachers at their requested location or with the requested cooperating teacher who will provide proper mentoring and supervision.
