Description
As a key member of the team the Freight Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient operation of our freight and warehouse services ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service every time.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a talented team driving performance and delivering results.
- Manage the daytoday operations of freight delivery and warehousing activities ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Implement best practices for logisitics management and customer service.
- Be flexible with your working hours to meet the everchanging demands of our customers.
- Work closely with your team to ensure timely deliveries optimise processes and maintain a high standard of safety and compliance.
Skills And Experiences
About You:
- Proven experience in freight operations management with a strong understanding of logistics operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to changing customer needs.
- A flexible mindset and the ability to work outside standard hours when needed.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining high operational standards.
