The Role:
Our business is growing. We are looking for someone to challenge the status quo who can radically improve our ability to deliver customerfacing projects at scale and in alignment with program management and governance best practices. The primary objective of the new Customer Operations Program Manager role is to own the successful delivery of our portfolio of Customer facing projects including new business implementations platform migration and service expansion projects to accelerate timetovalue for our customers and build our ability to scale project delivery.
The Program Manager is a senior member of the Professional Services team striving for rapid value realization and prolonged health status post golive. This role is a hybrid player/coach meaning this role will own the overall program strategy and direction of participating teams while also leading selected highimpact projects directly.
This is an opportunity for an experienced program manager to take a highprofile position in the customer org providing oversight and direction across multiple high impact customerfacing projects while integrating program management best practices throughout the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and manage the Customer Operations book of work governance model and stakeholder reporting
- Directly oversee key customer projects while also guiding and supporting project managers and contributors across multiple initiatives.
- Plan and define the scope of the program and individual projects ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and track project plans ensuring ontime withinscope and withinbudget delivery.
- Drive efficiency in program continuously improving processes to scale project delivery.
- Manage risks and issues proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure seamless platform migrations driving customer success and adoption postgolive.
- Foster crossfunctional collaboration in support of the customer experience working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain program governance ensuring proper documentation reporting and compliance.
- Superior communication and leadership skills to coordinate crossfunctional teams in support of rapid value delivery for our customers
Skills and Qualifications
- 8 years of proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager ideally within software implementation SaaS or professional services.
- 5 years of people management experience including mentoring coaching and leading project teams.
- Experience managing customerfacing projects with a strong focus on client success and adoption.
- Ability to balance strategic oversight with handson project (hybrid player/coach approach).
- Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies
- Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Jira MS Project Asana or similar).
- Experience in risk management budgeting and resource allocation.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field; Project Management certifications (PMP PgMP or Agile) are a plus.
