Job Description

Position Summary
This is an advancedlevel student position requiring possession of special skills that may have been acquired through experience coursework or both. This position works under little or no direct supervision of an APSU faculty or staff member. The Grading Assistant will work up to 1220 hours per week and will grade programming assignments for CSCI 1010 CSCI 1015 CSCI 2010 CSCI 2000 CSCI 2070 CSCI 3300 CSCI 3400 CSCI 4000 CSCI 4400 and/or CSCI 4650. Pay Rate: $12/hour Availability: Up to three 3 positions effective January 2017 FOAP :

Essential Functions
Ability to compile run and grade programming assignments. Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision making. Ability of maintain familiarity with Microsoft Windows Microsoft Visual C Java Development Kit HTML CSS JavaScript PHP MySQL MSSQL and/or MS . NET technologies. Ability to effectively utilize computer technology. Ability to coordinate and direct the activity of others. Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to maintain excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations the University community and the public. Attendance and punctuality are essential to this position.
